Overview:
Our client has an opportunity available for an IT Technician to assist with on-site desktop support. This technician will work closely with company’s Tech Operations and Support Specialists to provide world-class support to the Netflix workforce. Responsibilities include provisioning computers, deploying hardware, workstation and desk setups, supply/inventory support, assisting with conference room technology, and other operational support for end-user issues and requests.
Hours of support: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 630pm
Skill Requirement:
● Excellent Communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
● Experience troubleshooting productivity software including Google Workspace applications such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, as well as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application suites
● Experience troubleshooting conference room technology including Google Meet, Chromebox for Meetings, and Crestron devices
● Experience hardware support for Windows/Apple/Chrome/Linux
● IT or desktop support with a focus on the customer-facing experience
● Preferred executive support experience
● Fundamentals in networking protocols and troubleshooting
● Experience supporting mobile devices including Android and iOS devices
● Experience supporting copiers and consumer printers
● Working knowledge with a ticketing systems environment
● Knowledge of best practices around data security
● Working knowledge with software, asset, and endpoint management tools (i.e. Jamf, Chef, Munki, Bitfit)
● Working knowledge of audio/visual events technologies and support
Roles and Responsibilities:
Below is a list of responsibilities that the contractor position will require during the length of their contract.
● Primary role is to assist on site with Company’sTech Operations and Support team with operational and secondary support requests
● Retrieval and disposal of hardware equipment through existing e-cycle program
● Termination technology recovery procedures
● Perform room to room technical sweeps and basic troubleshooting of conference room and general audio-visual equipment around campus
● System preparation of computers ranging from macOS, Windows 10, ChromeOS and Ubuntu systems, as well as mobile devices on iOS and Android.
● Deployment of corresponding computer hardware, including on-site as well as preparation for shipment to remote locations
● Partner with the N-Tech IT team to improve overall user experience by helping to implement new/updated workflows
● Remote support through N-Tech channels
● Application Access
● Telecom support and deployment
● Support for onboarding and new hire processes
● Onsite AV events support
● Basic training in Google Apps
● Swing space support
● Mobile device support
● Printer Support
● Other technical duties as assigned
● Large format and/or media display support
